I've been blogged!!

As many of you know, I just love to see how others use my beads. It's strange and enlightening at the same time! Sometimes you have pre-conceived ideas -and then you get a picture and you think - wow, I never thought of that.

Well I've just received an email from the lovely Veryan of Beady Pool to show me how she used these beads. I just adore the mix with the silver, it really sets them off, and they look so carefree!

The strangest thing, and I swear it's true - last night, having made mself some of these beads, I sat down and made myself a bracelet and necklace to go with the earrings I already have!! How bizzare is that! But even more bizzare (or not!) I have also simply teamed mine with silver! Here are the earrings

I'm actually wearing the set today too as it happens. All I need to do is to phograph them too!!

To see more of Veryan's work visit her blog here : http://beadypool.blogspot.com/

and her Folksy Shop here: http://www.folksy.com/shops/beadypool

And just incase you were wondering, these beads are available, made to order, and can be made in other colours too!

Big Hole Beads Bracelet - Mine!

Well I bought my bracelet a little while ago, and I've been collecting and making beads since - I finally now got the "look" as I want it and feel comfortable with!

All the lampies are mine (apart from the blue and ivory - which I got in the swap last year - thanks Ingrid!).

Now I need to make mpre beads in other colour combos .. must crack on!

Blue Grass

For Mother's Day I decided to make a set of beads in memory of my Mum who passed away last year. She may be gone, but I still like to make her gifts for special occasions. Her favourite perfume was Blue Grass - and inspired from the colours in the packaging I made some beads. The gift bit came when I soldl them on to raise money for The Dogs Trust, you guessed it, Mum's favourite charity.

The beads were snapped up by the lovely Julia, and here you can see a pair of earrings that she's created. Pretty aren't they! To see the other pieces that Julia created, go to the Customer Creations section in my Flickr album!
